I had been waiting months for the MLS season to start again, especially to watch Inter Miami with Messi leading the team. Expectations were high. Every time Messi steps on the pitch, it feels like something special could happen.

But the opening game against LAFC was rough. They completely outplayed us, and it honestly hurt to watch. I had hoped for a strong start, something that would set the tone for the season, but instead it was a reminder that nothing is guaranteed in football.

Still, that is part of being a fan. You stay with the team even when things don’t go your way. Messi has carried teams through much harder situations before, and I know this is just the beginning of a long season.

One bad start does not define the journey.

I am still excited to see how Inter Miami responds in the next few games.

I really like how honest and grounded this reflection is. You capture that mix of excitement and disappointment really well!
